What is a Kartikay...?

I would liken the path my life has led me on similar to that of the famous Belgian comic book character, Tintin. A thirst for adventure, knowledge, and new frontiers beyond the horizon have allowed me to travel extensively and adapt to vastly varying environments. Combined, all these experiences have moulded me into a true citizen of the world. Earth is home, and its wondrous places just different rooms to be explored.

My varying personal and professional experiences from having grown up in Kenya, and lived and worked in Canada, the UK, and the UAE have left me with nothing but respect, admiration, and a unique perspective about how different cultures approach life and interact with each other. I have also had the opportunity to travel extensively and spend lengthy periods of time in India and the USA. These additional adventures only enhanced the positivity of my previous experiences. 

My biggest takeaway from my adventures is respect and humility. Being patient and understanding with the person in front of oneself will help transcend any perceived roadblocks. My personal philosophy is to always approach every situation with a roundtable attitude and chart a course forward as a team and not as adversaries. And always bring Kit Kats. Chocolate solves everything.
