Carleton Disability Awareness Centre, 2007-2011
Much like Hagrid to Harry, whenever I was needed to accompany students with disabilities to any school function (varsity games, frosh week events, on-campus events, sanctioned off-campus events) I was there, loaded with helping hands, spare gloves, and plenty of banter. Some of my most meaningful and lasting friendships yet began with me trying to figure out how to quick-charge scooters and chairs. I miss it dearly.
