This has gone down as one of the coolest and funnest work placements I have ever undertaken! Over a four month period I was part of an engineering team that was trained to conduct a full service on Cessna PT-6 TurboProp Atlantic Turbine engines. It was highly technical with no margin for error due to the nature of the planes that used these engines - most were single engined. The greatest lesson to learn from this assignment - attention to detail can never be overstated.
